Auction Memories ... Through the Years
If you are traveling from Birmingham Airport - There is a section of the Interstate from the airport to Tuscaloosa that is completely shutdown for rebuilding. Your GPS will try to take you that way from the airport and then several detours around downtown. Instead when exiting the airport - Take I-20 East toward Atlanta then Take I-459 South toward Tuscaloosa it is a loop around the south side of Birmingham and only a few short miles out of the way and much better route than going through downtown detours. I-459 will then loop around to I-20w/59s toward Tuscaloosa/Northport.
